When an application for financial assistance is accepted, NBI will pay a regular payment. Normally this regular payment is £13 per week and is paid, in advance, 4 times a year, at the end of March, June, September and December for the following quarter.

A beneficiary is also entitled to apply for other financial support. NBI may help with the supply of domestic appliances through their contract with Comet or the provision of a television through an associated charity W4B. NBI will also consider helping with unexpected bills or repairs.

Cases are presented to the Committee of Management every two months.
